Mia is a 1-year-old female Dane x Ridgeback with a fawn and black coat. She is a quiet, sweet-natured dog who adores both food and cuddles. However, she also enjoys having her own space at times.
Mia has been around children, specifically those aged 3 and 5, and she is great with them. While she brightens up when she sees children, her large size could accidentally knock over smaller babies, though her behaviour is full of affectionate, puppy-like energy.
Mia would thrive in a home with another dog, as she loves to play and gains confidence from having other dogs around. She can be timid when meeting new people but, once she opens up, she reveals a lovely, playful side.
Mia enjoys short, open walks and doesn’t require long-distance outings to stay content.
She is crate trained and can be left alone for around four hours, though she does not enjoy being left without other dogs and may cry if she is by herself. While Mia occasionally exhibits puppy-like chewing behaviour, she is easily distracted with a bone.
On the lead, she walks well, though she may shut down and try to hide if another dog barks at her. However, with encouragement from other dogs, she can handle these situations better.
Mia has shown no signs of reactive or aggressive behaviour and is currently fed Ava Kibble.
Overall, Mia is a wonderful dog who, with the right companionship and guidance, will continue to blossom into a confident and loving member of the family.
